The Austerland professional Sidney Se Silva had the day's highest knock with 97 not out in his team's total of 149 for 7 which was not enough to prevent Uppermill winning the match by five wickets at Thorpe Lane.
Bamford, the league leaders had their match over by six o clock, easily matching the target set by Shaw of 136 with seven wickets to spare. Simon Marshall scoring 71 not out and Martin Smith taking five wickets for 58 runs for Bamford.
Just short of five hundred runs were scored in the Heyside v Glodwick match, both teams placed second and third respectively in the league table. Both team's professional scored 80 with the Glodwick pro, Imran Aslam also taking 5 for 93 with the ball.
Zafar Iqbal's all-round performance at Hollinwood (53 and 4 for 19) was the highlight of Friarmere's five wicket away win at Hollinwood.
Gareth Dent scored 69 in Droylsden's total of 182 with a 6 for 69 return from Lloyd Kingston, Moorside's overseas amateur, the best performance of the day. 77 not out from the professional and 67 not out from K. Khan, gave Moorside a handsome away win by eight wickets.
U. Malvi, the Stayley professional, scored 61 in Stayley's total of 180 away at Greenfield, Alex Peters taking 5 wickets for 54 runs. Greenfield won the match however by three wickets
